Alright so it's snowing again. I think this round of snow calls for mother nature to take a nice round house kick to the face.
Just sayin'.
I don't wish for it to be "hot". I just wish for it to be like 60, even 70. Sunny, breezy. Breezy being the key term. I like me a good breeze in the air.
No humidity. Yuck!
I'm currently snuggling in my bed with my new blanket fresh off the boat from South Korea. Really! Fresh off the boat. Aaron bought it in South Korea, kept in on the boat, and then sent it to me when he got to Japan. This thing is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOOOOOFFFFFTTTTTT. Really. Again. SOOOO SOFFTTTTTT.
But. It smells like boat. And for those of you who don't know, boat smell is NASTY. Not just any boat smell, SUBMARINE boat smell. Recycled air, mold, mildew and a little bit of body odor thrown in the mix. I tried to febreeze this thing but it didn't work. It's going to need a good washing. But it's so large and heavy and fuzzy that I'm not sure it will fit in a washing machine. Especially the ones here at school. I don't want to ruin its soft fuzziness.
Any suggestions on how to wash it?
So I have an exam this week. I think that if I read the text book and take some really good reading notes that I should be golden. Except for the short answer questions, I hate those!
I'm supposed to get my grade for my family studies class today. Hoping that I got at least an 80! All we are graded on in that class is 3 exams. THATS IT! 3 exams! So there is no room for error. Especially since I really want to get an A!
OH. And I got a 98 on my first big exam of the semester! YAY! Happy happy :)
What else..
Nothing.
I'm out of things to say.
Haha. This makes me chuckle for a few reasons. It's like 70 here. Has been mid 70's the past few days. (But I'm going to want YOUR weather when it's hot as hell down here). Also, it's super sweet he sent you a blanket! But the smell thing had me cracking up. The last time Tod got back from Iraq we were unpacking his gear and everything smelled SO bad. I seriously didn't want it in my house. And sand was just literally falling out of everything. It was everywhere. And the best part? A dead cockroach fell out of his gear/clothing. Awesome. Sweet. He brought a little bit of Iraq home for me. lol. Love you!
ReplyDeletehahaha how cuteee you get a dead bug and i get a blanket :) oh the things they do for us ;)
ReplyDeleteand the smell is just horrid. the febreeze worked for a little while. and its not like reeking of boat right now but every so often i get a whiff lol the thing needs to be washed!

ReplyDeleteHaha I bet it was terrible. Tod has deployed on an amphibious aircraft carrier a couple times and his stuff came back smelling prettty awful. Oh how you have to love the scents that deployments bring us!
